Akland was an accountant and a hunter on the Sixth Floor Hunting Grounds.

Description

As an accountant for the Dream, Akland worked with soy crop shipping manifests. When the Dream rented out the Fantasy Hunter Camp as a sort of employee retreat, he performed well and won a spot in the Dream's Faction Wars army. The Dream offered him money to participate, and more money to travel down to the Sixth Floor Hunting Grounds and hunt Louis. Akland claimed to have a family.[2]

He was captured by Carl and Samantha, and briefly interrogated. Carl marked him with the Enchanted Night Wyrm's Ring of Divine Suffering and killed him, leveling up the ring and boosting Carl to level 55.[3]
