Brain Boilers look like a cross between a squid and an umbrella. They have a psionic attack that can be countered with high charisma. The Fear Spell is ineffective on them. [1]

Carl and Donut encounter a group of Brain Boilers outside the Medium Skyfowl Settlement halfway through the Third Floor. They are unaffected by the psionic attacks due to both of them having high charisma stats. [1]
