Circe Took is of the mantis race. She is a minor hive queen. She is the mother of Hunters Vrah and Xindy. Carl meets her at CrawlCon! where she is the moderator of the Crawling Through the Ages panel. Circe is enraged with Carl for killing her daughter Xindy and is further enraged by Carl promising to kill her other daughter Vrah. She later managed to sue let the hunters leave early, arguing that now Borant Corporation was no longer running the show their contracts were no longer binding.
Circe sponsors the god Diwata during the 6th floor so she can cure Vrah of her Enthusiastic Double Gonorrhea.
