Confusing Fog is a spell that fills a space with thick, wet fog for a brief period of time (seconds equal to caster's Intelligence x 5).
Description
The billowing cloud of fog is initially opaque but immediately becomes translucent to the caster, crawlers, and white-tagged NPCs; however, mobs remain blinded for its duration.[1][2] While the fog is active, water beads on the ground and every surface.[1]
Scrolls of Confusing Fog are commonly received in Loot Boxes on the First Floor and Second Floor. Scrolls can be casted without spending mana points or learning the spell.[3]
Story
Book 1
Carl recieves several scrolls of Confusing Fog from a Gold Crowd Control Box. [4] He activates several scrolls during the fight with the Juicer [1] Later, when they are back in a Tutorial Guild Hall with Mordecai, Mordecai mentions how Carl wasted the Confusing Fog Spells by activating them. Instead he should let Donut (who has a much higher Intelligence stat) activate them to make them last longer. [5]
When Jack summons the Rage Elemental, Donut uses a Confusing Fog Scroll to buy the group time to make it to a safe room. [6]
Book 3
- Carl receives three scrolls of Confusing Fog in a Silver Quest Box for the CockBlock Achievement. [7]
