Dungeon Book of the Floor Club

The Dungeon Book of the Floor Club is a Dungeon Benefit which delivers one new Tome to members on each floor.[2]

Description

Crawlers may gain "membership" to the Dungeon Book of the Floor Club from Silver Boss Boxes.[2]

The tomes are delivered to Safe Room mailboxes at the beginning of each floor, beginning (at earliest) on the Second Floor.[2] The mailboxes typically take the form of standard suburban mailboxes with the red indicator flag up, standing on poles near the ever-present three screens. While the mailboxes are visible to everyone, only crawlers who participate in the Dungeon Book of the Floor Club or similar subscription services can open the boxes. Other crawlers who attempt to open the mailboxes receive the error message, Why would someone send you mail?[3]

If a crawler is unable to pick up their book before a floor collapses, the book is destroyed in the collapse. They do not receive two books on the next floor.[4]

Story

Book 1

Donut and Chris Andrews both gain membership to the Dungeon Book of the Floor Club in Silver Boss Boxes after defeating the Ball of Swine on the First Floor. They receive their first tomes on the Second Floor.[2]
