Dungeon Crawler Carl Wiki:2024 Admin Team

Objective: Appoint a team of 2-4 administrators (including current admin) by the end of 2024. Admins are expected to remain reasonably active, maintain the database (including citations, grammar/spelling checks, information, and organization), and foster community engagement.

Scope: Currently restricting focus to identifying interested contributors who meet the basic criteria. Community engagement will be a separate project.

What do admins do?

Administrators do not have significantly more rights or access than regular contributors, and having active admins will not effect most wiki users. Admins can edit or add CSS, delete pages, view analytics (great for data junkies; terrible if you're not subscribed to Matt's Patreon), manage members, and access more database management tools.

How do I volunteer as tribute?

As a small fandom, we're looking for admins who will continue developing the wiki and will support other users. We will select candidates based on activity, online interactions with others, and the accuracy, reliability, and readability of posted/revised content. A great way to get noticed is to help with the project list and proofread your work!

We highly recommend a basic understanding of wikitext and CSS, and at least a vague idea that Lua exists. If you do not have wiki experience, it turns out you can do a pretty okay job after a crash course in coding and a few days of dissecting other fanwikis.
