Flamengo is a party of Brazilian crawlers known for min-maxing their stats.[1] They gained popularity with viewers during the Fourth Floor Iron Tangle.[2][3]

Story

Before or during the Sixth Floor, Flamengo became "good friends" with Anton, Paz Lo, and Sister Ines.[4]

Cleiton, Osvaldo, and Osvaldo's pet hawk Gimli attend the Butcher's Masquerade at the end of the Sixth Floor.[3][5] Cleiton was killed in the battle against Queen Imogen, and Bianca ate Gimli after Osvaldo looted the Memorial Crystal from the Country Boss's body. Osvaldo and his surviving team members descended the stairs before Carl's Faction Wars announcement, and blame Prepotente and the Royal Court of Princess Donut for Gimli's death.[6][7][4]

SPOILERS FOR BOOK 6
On the Eighth Floor, a member of Flamengo appears on the Leaderboard for the first time.[8] When they entered the T'Ghee Card training rooms, their first opponent was the Pillsbury Dough Boy. They played a fire-breathing lizard card against it, "and it literally cooked it."[9] Flamengo returns to Brazil for the floor's final phase, where they enter a card battle against Jurgen; Jurgen is forced to use a Flee Card, and retaliates by breaking the stairwell.[10] With four days left in the floor, Flamengo and Jurgen's team worked together to clear out the rubble.[11]
