Gate of the Feral Gods is an item on the Fifth Floor.
AI Description
Mysterious Winding Box.
This strange box hums with arcane power. There is space for two watches. What happens if you place the watches within and activate the box? You should try to find out! [1]
Description
A celestial item that opens a gate from one place to another, this includes other floors but doesn't allow crawlers to travel down without using a staircase. The cost is ripping a hole in the Nothing and summon an ancient, feral god. Usually when one of those is summoned, another god comes looking for it. The gate comes in three pieces: two watches and a winding box.
When it was created by the AI, it set off a chain reaction of checks and balances that crashed the entire system, effectively allow it to circumvent it’s own rules.
Multiple factions sue to keep this item out of Carl's hands, but they were unsuccessful.
