Iron Punch Skill

Iron Punch is a monk/fighter skill that increases the amount of "enhanced fist" punching damage a crawler deals by 10% per skill level when the crawler wears a war gauntlet or lumper. It does not negate "bare knuckle" bonuses granted by the Pugilism Skill or Powerful Strike Skill.[1]

At level 10 it gains an upgrade called the Breadbasket Effect which provides a 10% chance to stun a mob for several seconds.

AI Description

When simple brutality isn’t enough. Newsboy cap not included.

With a skill like this, you can always find work as a 1920’s street tough or a collection agent for a bookie.

War gauntlets and lumpers will protect your hands and enhance your punching damage without losing your bare-knuckle bonus. Each level of this skill increases the enhanced fist damage bonus by an additional 10%.[2]

Story

Book 1

Carl received a skill level notification for reaching level 3 of Iron Punch, after punching the Hoarder to death with a metal chain leash wrapped around his fist. This skill allows him to equip the Enchanted War Gauntlet of the Exalted Grull and still gain the bareknuckle buffs from his Pugilism Skill.[3][1]

Book 2

Carl is offered the Prizefighter Class which gives a +1 to the Iron Punch Skill. [4] He levels up the skill to a qualified 10 (8 base + 2 from the Enchanted War Gauntlet of the Exalted Grull) while fighting the Brain Boilers outside the Medium Skyfowl Settlement. This added the Breadbasket Effect, allowing for a 10% chance to stun enemies. [5]
