Le Mouvement

"There was one guy on the outside of where they were locked in, and now he’s all alone. Everyone died except him. They showed him sitting on the ground just crying for like a minute straight." -- Donut[1]

Le Mouvement was a crawler party comprised of (150) African soldiers armed with AK-47s and at least one Red Cross worker. They were featured on the third episode of Dungeon Crawler World: Earth and descended to the Second Floor when the countdown timer struck 6 hours.[2]

Story

Book 1

At some point in the 30 hours before the First Floor collapsed, "internal strife" fractured the party. Their numbers were slashed to (80), and several members gained Player-Killer Skulls. They were down to a mere (500) rounds of ammunition.[3]

Less than three days later, Le Mouvement took on a City Boss that looked like a house-sized blob of Jell-O and resided in a series of sewer-like tubes. Struggling to move around and unable to figure out how to hurt to the boss, Le Mouvement was completely wiped out except for Ifechi, who was locked outside of the arena.[4] The party was officially dissolved.

Trivia

  • Le Mouvement des libérateurs centrafricains pour la justice was a rebel group in the Central African Republic involved in the Central African Bush War. Around the time that Matt began writing in December 2019, Le Mouvement had been in the news as they fought the Popular Front for the Rebirth of Central African Republic for control of the town of Am Dafok. The group was dissolved in 2022.[5][6]
