Trivia

- In the Canadian province of Quebec, lutins may take the shape of common pets and particularly favor appearing as white cats. Good lutins may adjust the weather or shave a man's face on Sundays, while evil lutins may cause any number of minor troubles and pranks.[1]
- In the American city of Detroit, Michigan, the Nain Rouge ("red dwarf") or "Demon of the Strait" is a legendary creature with roots in both French and Native American traditions. Its appearance is said to bring bad fortune.[3]
