Donut receives this skill at level 5 from the Artist Alley Mogul Class, the class she picks for the Third Floor.

SPOILERS FOR BOOK 3
- Upon entry to the Fourth Floor, Donut loses the Artist Alley Mogul Class, but raised it to level 7. She loses the 5 skill points from the class, but keeps the skill experience she earned and the 2 base levels, bringing her up to level 4. [2]
- Donut uses negotiating purchasing a Personal Space from Wendita to train her skill. Bopcas hate to discount anything and a crawler gets extra experience in the Negotiation Skill if a Bobca lowers their price. [3]
