Description
Neural Enhancers are available in Syndicate space, or can be delivered to crawlers in Benefactor Boxes from their Sponsors. Once consumed, the Neural Enhancer grants specific abilities; these abilities work both inside and outside of Enhancement Zones, and cannot be unequipped or uninstalled.[1]
Even if your current Wetware is compatible with the pill, Valtay recommends visiting a Valtay Corporate Outreach Center to discuss upgrading your current wetware with a Valtay Corporation Neural Interface. Payment and legacy plans are available.[1]

Taking this pill will install the following upgrade to your interface: Current elevation and airspeed.[2]
Valtay Corporation Neural Enhancer #544. Variant 32.c
Taking this pill will install the following upgrade to your interface: Identify and Analyze Subspace Portals.[3]

Standard Subspace Portal.

Environment on other side of portal: Compatible.
Visual Analysis? Yes/No.
Visual Analysis gives the user a still image of the other side of a portal. [1]
Third Party Upgrades Tab
If a crawler receives and ingests a Neural Enhancer, they can view it in their Heads-Up Display (HUD) under the "Third-Party Upgrades" tab. The tab includes a warning:[1]
Warning: All communication-based upgrades will be disabled while you are within the dungeon. Any attempts to circumvent dungeon security will result in immediate disqualification.[4]
Upgrades recorded in this tab do not include much information aside from the model number and status, e.g.: "This upgrade is working properly."[1]
