Similar but distinct from the Pawna's Cries Potion, the Pawna's Tears Potion is an extremely high-value item that adds five levels to any spell or skill chosen by the imbiber. The potion does not expire.[1]

Appearance

The Pawna Tears potion is contained in a rounded, ornate glass bottle, like an expensive perfume. Smoke rises from the glass.[1]

Story

Carl obtained this potion from a Legendary Deity's Box, which he received for earning the Indomitable Achievement on the Fourth Floor. Mordecai explains that this potion is "the single best item of loot" Carl has received so far because it allows him to take full advantage of the Primal race; Carl can train a skill or spell to level 15, and take this potion to reach level 20.[1]

SPOILERS FOR BOOK 5
Although Carl tries to save the potion, he ultimately gives it to Donut on the Sixth Floor. She uses the potion to raise her Laundry Day Spell to level 15 and "desleeve" Diwata.[3]
