Peace-Bonded is a status effect that prevents crawlers from accessing their Inventory in specific places or situations. It may be caused by powerful items such as Soul Crystals, or by executive orders.[1][2]

AI Notifications

When in place:

You’ve been peace-bonded! You may not access your inventory in this room.[3]

When expired:

You are no longer peace-bonded. You may now access your inventory.[4]

When countered:

You have been Peace-Bonded!
Peace Bonding has been negated by AI resolution.[5]

Story

Book 5

When Carl enters Ballroom A of the High Elf Castle on the Sixth Floor, he receives notifications that he has been Muted Debuff and Peace-Bonded, and the room is under a protection seal.[1] The status is removed from the room after Samantha pulls the soul crystals.[6]

After Carl, Donut, and Prepotente arrive on the Seventh Floor, Cascadia attempts a long list of administrative actions and debuffs including: Peace-Bonded, Frozen, Paralyzed, Slowed, a teleport, and Administrative Hold. The System AI blocks each one.[2]
