Ratings

“Carl, Carl! I have a follower! My first follower!” Donut cried. “Another! A view! I have a view!”[1]

Ratings are a critical Crawler mechanic that represents how popular a crawler is with viewers.

The First Floor of the Dungeon is not accessible by live viewers, but crawlers who appear on the highlight reels will typically gain billions of views and millions of followers as soon as they reach the Second Floor.[2] Crawlers may also gain viewers by appearing on third party programs.

Ratings Menu

Crawlers can view their ratings in the Ratings Menu of their Heads-Up Display (HUD). The menu shows:

STAT DESCRIPTION
Views: Any time someone watches a crawler's feed for approximately 8 seconds counts as 1 view.[2]
Followers: Number of viewers who bookmarked the crawler's ID and can tune in when they want (unless the crawler is in the bathroom).[2]
Favorites: Favoriting a crawler gives the viewer live updates on the crawler's stats and conditions, and if the crawler is in combat. Viewers receive a limited number of favorites.[2]
Patrons: Usually organizations, patrons sponsor popular crawlers for advertising purposes. Patrons typically only send Silver or Gold Loot Boxes due to the cost, but are exclusively able to send Benefactor Boxes, which contain the rarest items.[2]
