Seventh Floor

The Seventh Floor, was designed by Cascadia and destroyed by Prepotente. The design is based on a Prince Rupert’s drop.

The level is inspired by a fairy tale of a boy stuck in a maze, where every time he takes a tunnel it is sealed off behind him. He is presented with thousands of paths, but he keeps taking the incorrect one and is killed. Afterwards, he is resurrected by a God and forced to start over again.

Introductory Announcement

Hello, Crawlers!

Welcome to the seventh floor! The countdown is on!

Rules. The moment this message ends, each crawler pod will slide to the starting chute and open. This will happen in order. Once opened, you will be pulled through the tunnel and into the maze. All paths lead to the exit. There are no dead ends. The exit portals you see behind you are physically pulling you in, but in order to get to them, you must first negotiate the maze paths, which constitute several hundred kilometers of twisting and turning tubes. Each path leads to a node which in turn leads to multiple branches. In some cases, there are literally hundreds of possible paths. Pitstop safe rooms exist in these nodes. You cannot backtrack. Some paths are more dangerous than others. Some require the solving of math equations or puzzles to proceed. All tunnels are passable. The danger level of each branch is marked, oftentimes describing what you’ll find along the way and the distance to the next node. Most major nodes contain a zero tube, or a path with no danger. You must choose your path. Once a path has been passed through by 10 crawlers or a single party, it closes for an amount of time based on difficulty. All zero tubes may only be passed once.
