Sheet Music is similar to a scroll or magic book but exclusive to bard classes.
It allows bards to sing a song they normally couldn’t, the system helped them perform if they had the music in front of them making it easier to pull off but with a chance of failure if the performance was out of key. If sung badly it tears a little bit, to many tears and it’s ruined. If sung perfectly and in the correct pitch the spell is added to your bard repertoire, when this happens the sheet music isn’t consumed and can be sold or given to someone else.
