The Slingshot Skill is gained and trained by using a slingshot to target mobs inside the Dungeon. Leveling up this skill does not appear to increase the meager amount of damage dealt by flinging pebbles at monsters, but it may improve the crawler's aim.[1]
Description
Around level 3, the Slingshot Skill becomes a slog to train. The crawler may gain and level up the Aiming Skill and/or Steady Hand Skill long before reaching Slingshot Skill level 4.[1]
Story
Book 1
During the first full day of the Second Floor, Carl loots a slingshot and some rocks from an Unvaccinated Clurichaun Rev-Up Consultant and begins training. He trains up to level 3, but then the skill seems to stall out. [1] After hitting the Laminak fairy in the wing (after 10 attempts), his skill goes up to level 4 but his Slingshot Skill remains at 3. [2]
Zev asks Carl to stop using the slingshot due to it being unpopular with fans. He refuses and continues training with it, raising the skill to level 5 by the end of the Second Floor. [3]
