When trying to figure out how to get back to the higher level stations, Carl checks out the Abyss Station #436. The station is a dumping ground for trains at the end of the line, but also includes a portal to the Trainyard at station #10. Using his neural enhancer from the Valtay Corporation, he gets a notification that to travel through the portal one needs to equip either an Engineer's Key or the Train Conductor's Souvenir Hat. He spreads this knowledge through the chat function, only to hear that several crawlers had already sold theirs because of the high gold value. ^[1]
